联合国文件用语揭秘:措辞华丽繁复

联合国虽然强调六种正式语文地位同等，但大多数文件起草还是使用英文。有些联合国文件是长期艰苦谈判的产物，措辞讲究，并且倾向使用“华丽”辞藻。比如“naughty boys”在文件中应该是“juvenile pre-delinquents which has an exceptionally greasy flavour”。常用词汇见下图简表：
