With the iPad 2 nearing the end of its first year of availability, it is expected that Apple will announce a new model within the next few months, given the company's track record for regular annual refreshes.
According to unnamed sources speaking to Bloomberg , Apple's manufacturing partners have begun initial production of the iPad 3 and will begin large runs in February for a March release. What's more, the report also claims that the device will feature 4G LTE networking, a quad-core processor, and a higher resolution screen than the iPad 2.
Of course, there have been similar rumors about the next Pad's display and networking capabilities in the past, but today's report adds more fuel to the fire.
