ThePSP has a solid line up this year, but how many upcoming games will beavailable as digital downloads. The PSP Go doesn't have a UMD drive andSony has yet to announce a solution for physical UMD games. At E3 Iasked a bunch of publishers what their plans are for the system.

SonyComputer Entertainment America plans to release all future first partygames as downloadable and retail titles. That means you'll be able toplay games like Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, and Echochrono on theslimmer and trimmer PSP Go.

Square Enix doesn't have any plansto release a downloadable version of Dissidia: Final Fantasy yet. ShinMegami Tensei: Persona is sure to be another hot PSP title. Will it bea downloadable game too? 「We can say for sure that there will be a UMDversion,」 said Yu Namba, Project Lead at Atlus. 「I don't know if wewill be releasing it simultaneously digitally on the PlayStation Store.」

Koei plans to release legacy games possibly previous Dynasty Warriorsgames on the PlayStation Store, but as of now do not have any plans torelease Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce or the upcoming Warriors Orochi 2as downloadable games. A representative from Tecmo explained UndeadKnights will not be released as a downloadable game on day one either.Tecmo is taking a wait and see approach before pursuing a downloadablestrategy.

Many publishers explained releasing a UMD gamesimultaneously as a downloadable game means the title will have to gothrough another round of testing.

All hope isn't lost! Xseed ismore optimistic about the PSP Go. Half-Minute Hero, a lightning fastRPG developed by Marvelous, and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony could maketheir way on the PlayStation Store. 「I think both,」 Jun Iwasaki,President of Xseed said. 「Sony recommended publishers to preparedownloadable and UMD. We asked GameArts and Marvelous to prepare bothversions. Maybe we will launch a downloadable and a UMD as well, butthis is not confirmed yet.」

Namco Bandai appears to be backingthe PSP Go with Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. While a downloadableversion was not announced at E3, Japanese website 4gamer has a video ofSoulcalibur: Broken Destiny running on the new hardware.

e3發佈會上SCEA公佈了PSP GO，取消了UMD光驅，PSPGO今年有大量下載遊戲在PSN商店銷售，展會期間，採訪了一些日廠，瞭解一些了們對PSP GO的計劃：

SCE：所有遊戲下載版和UMD零售版同時上市，今年有GTP、LBP等一些大作上市

SE：目前沒有計劃，不準備PSN銷售DDFF

ATLUS：對於PERSONA這樣的熱門作品，只能告訴你會有UMD 版本，我不知道是否能在PSN同時提供數字下載

KOEI：會在PSN裡積極提供無雙系列相關內容，但是未有任何計劃在PSN裡銷售聯合打擊或無雙大蛇2

TECMO：不準備提供不死騎士的下載版，要繼續觀望

很多廠商表示下載版和零售版同時提供要經過新一輪測試，無疑增加了成本。
別灰心，也有反應積極的廠商

XSEED的二個作品《勇者30》和《露那》，負責人表示：我想會同時提供二個版本，SCE推薦發行商能同時提供二版本，我們已經和MMV和GAMEARTS溝通過，可能會同時上市，不過一切也沒有確定。

從視頻上看，NB會在PSPGO上提供刀魂新作，但是沒有在E3宣佈。。。。。。
